Our chapter was founded in 1948 at the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, where we have over 151 members. ADPI's are focused on academics, leadership and of course, SISTERHOOD! Our motto is, "We Live for Eachother" and it is much more than just a saying to each and every one of us. Whether it is at our beautiful home, on campus or elsewhere, we are always doing our absolute best to make sure we are involved. Please check out our website and all our chapter has to offer!
A Message From Our President:
Hi everyone! My name is Nicole Guadagnoli, and I serve as the President of the Gamma Lambda chapter of Alpha Delta Pi! I am a sophomore, early education major and I am from Orange, Connecticut. My sisters have truly inspired me to become a better woman, and I am honored to serve as their President. I know I will grow as a person, and I hope that I can make a difference for Gamma Lambda during my term.
When I went through recruitment in 2013, I immediately fell in love with ADPi. As soon as I walked in the room, I felt an instant connection to the women that I spoke to and their values of the organization. I soon learned that the women I sat with on Preference Round were going to be my sisters and my closest friends I could ever dream of having.
Together, my sisters and I enjoy supporting our philanthropy, the Ronald McDonald House Charities as well as helping out other chapters on our campus. We strive to represent Alpha Delta Pi and the Greek community well in everything we do! Our motto “We Live For Each Other” is our open motto that is truly expressed in our sisterhood and exemplified every day. Each sister strives to become a well-balanced woman, while motivating the sisters around her to strive for excellence. I believe that Alpha Delta Pi brings out the highest potential in each and every one of our members. Our sisterhood will continue to strengthen through the years well after our college days are over and I cannot wait to see what each member has to bring. Each member is provided four years of smiles and laughter, as well as memories, friendships, and values that will last a lifetime. This is clearly evident from the first moment you step into our home at 5 Fraternity Circle and begin to experience the love we have for one another.
I truly love each and every one of my sisters and I cannot wait to attend every single one of their weddings! We hope you enjoy our website and can have a glance of what Alpha Delta Pi means to each of us!
